Husband died last year, his mother (beneficiary to life insurance ) died in 2001. i need an estate to get the life insurance, we have a will, and husband was dieing from cancer, plus he had no money or possessions except some clothes. his income was SSI, so why do i need an estate and to go to court to settle this or do i?
