My brother died need to close accounts in Florida where he lived.

I need to close my brothers accounts. He was poor no money lived on streets and car. I just need to clear out everything. He was indagent. ! No Monaey. Why do I need a lawyer to do that? I live in Ohio he was in Florida.

My father died unmarried in Maine with no will. He is survived by 3 sons, myself (the oldest biological son), his adopted son (who's 16 days older than me), and an 8 year old, biological son. How does his property, land, etc. get disbursed? The adopted son and myself live in Virginia and the 8 year old, biological son lives in Maine.

We took one of those community classes and when we were told by our finicial advisor that we would need to go and see a lawyer becasue it is only good if something happens to one of us not both and we have everything in joint tendecy except he has an american express card only in his name.

My ex-husband's older sister may have denied stolen his only daughters inheritance

My daugters father was murdered 4 yrs ago at age 45 in Miami. His older sister said he had no money. I recently learned that she emptied his bank accounts & collected on a company issued life insurance policy he had at the time of his death. What legal recourse do we have?
