I have a vehicle for about 6 months the vehicle broke within 3 months i put money in the vehicle to get is fix but it is more to get fixed than owe

I bought a vehicle within 3 months it broke the rear end is gone and head gasket blown and the engine went i put more money into it than it is worth i had to sell it for parts to get some money i am trying to work out paymts with company i owe for vehicle i owe them one thousand and it cost a whole lot more than that to get fix what are my legal options. I am a single parent with 4 kids and i really need advice.
