I'm retired & due to health and financial reasons, must sell our timeshare at paradise village in Puerto vallarta MX. R eceived a sales agreement from Great West Funding Inc. Out of Phoenix AZ. Out of the blue they call us & say they have a buyer for our membership. For double of what its worth. My wife & I are somewhat skeptical of signing this agreement. Also requesting sellers prossing cost of $ 2175.00. And of course total refund at closing. HELP '''''

Hi,

Yes, I would also be skeptical. Sounds like they will end up with a nice healthy "processing fee" and you guys will get stuck with no buyer. These scams always play to your greed - twice the value; too good to turn down kind of stuff. Shake each other up and recognize that you are not likely going to get a windfall here out of the blue and there will be no random buyer coming along to give you twice what your timeshare is worth is this economy. In fact, far too many people have been left to sell these kind of luxury assets because of the bad economy and players like this know it.

If you have any doubts, at least hire a pro to review the terms before you commit.

If you would like to discuss further over a free phone consult, feel free to contact me anytime that is convenient.
