To learn more about divorce, please call us and also look at this pamphlet: http://www.gabar.org/pdf/cps/divorce.pdf.

BANKRUPTCY AND DEBT RELIEF Fees for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, which can eliminate most debts and give you a fresh start, are fairly inexpensive. Average legal fees are usually about $950 (add about $200 for couples). Court costs are $306. To start a case, stop by our office and get a FREE worksheet, or CLICK HERE to get the worksheet FREE online. Please call for more details on our fees. Our office also can handle Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases, in which you repay debts over time. Initially you need the same free worksheet. A Chapter 13 can prevent foreclosures, and stop collection efforts. The down payment on some Chapter 13's is as low as $300 to file your case. Congress has designated us a Federal Debt Relief Agency. To learn more about bankruptcy, please call or email us, and also look at this State Bar pamphlet. If you are already in a Chapter 13 you can track your case online at https://www.13datacenter.com/index.asp. We handle bankruptcy cases in all of the following counties: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Newton, Rockdale, Carroll, Coweta, Fayette, Haralson, Heard, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Paulding, Polk, Walker, Whitfield, Banks, Barrow, Dawson, Fannin, Forsyth, Gilmer, Habersham, Hall, Jackson, Lumpkin, Pickens, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White.

CAR ACCIDENTS AND PERSONAL INJURIES Have you been hurt in an accident or have a claim for an injury? We can help you get fair compensation for your injuries and suffering. Call for a free evaluation of your case. This State Bar pamphlet on auto accidents contains useful information and a form that is useful: http://www.gabar.org/pdf/cps/autoaccident.pdf.

ADOPTIONS Our office is experienced in adoptions. Legal fees in uncontested step-parent and DFCS adoptions can be as low as $1500. Adoptions involve detailed complex paperwork, so be sure you hire someone who regularly handles adoptions. Our office has extensive adoption experience.

NAME CHANGE We do name changes for children and adults. Fees vary by county, with legal fees starting at $299 (higher in some counties). In some cases, birth certificates can also be corrected inexpensively.

WILLS About 8 out of 10 Americans have no will. Not only does this increase probate costs, and ofttimes leaves your estate to those you did not intend to be heirs, but it also means you lose your chance to name a guardian for your children. Start on your will by getting our free worksheet. Fees for a will start at $250 (and our office does a living will at no charge for our will clients - details below). Be sure to also ask us about a Living Will and/or Health Care Power of Attorney to avoid a Terri Schiavo-like situation. To learn more about wills, please call or email us, and also look at this State Bar pamphlet: http://www.gabar.org/pdf/cps/wills.pdf

POWER OF ATTORNEY Very few people are prepared for the times when they are unable to handle their affairs. Ask us about a power of attorney that can help in these situations.

OTHER MATTERS Our office can assist you with many other matters. Please ask.
