My 7 yr old son had pacemaker put in a week before 2nd bday had that one out and new one in different area that incesion became infected was taken to see doc in town sent home told not to give antibiotic antibiotics too late went out of town to see doc&surgeon also sent us home antibiotics were started by then he had to have 3 more surgeries in 2 weeks infectios disease team became involved that pacer was taken out another put in different area i am not a doc just a mom followed doctors orders
