Hospital says they sent 3 notices that bill was going to collection. Never received a thing. Learned they sent it to an address that wasn't mine. They had major computer problems during a system conversion. They billed Blue Cross although I didn't have Blue Cross. I learned about this with a credit denial when I tried to get a mortgage loan. Company doing billing for the hospital refuses to admit any wrong or correct anything. Called attorney I normally use and person who answers phone said I was out of luck that no attorney would ever take on something like that. That sounds as ridiculous as the woman in the billing department. I want this incorrect collection removed from my record. If hospital wants their money they should bill the correct insurance.
