Minor kicked out by parents

My friend got kicked out by her parents two weeks ago and she is only 16 years old. She is currently living with her boyfriends parents but she would like to live with me and my parents. I was wondering is it legal to take her in or if it's even legal for her parents to kick her out. I really need to know what I should do or the legal steps I should take. Thank you!

If you and your parents don't want a lot of legal problems, stay out of this. It was not legal for her parents to kick her out and they can be put in jail. Unless your parents go to court and become legal guardians the child cannot live with you either.
