Child Support and Visitation

In which county does one file for back child support, the absent parent is almost $8000 in arrears? If the primary custodian of the minor children feels that they would be in danger being around absent parent, can the primary keep the minors for the absentee?

You cannot violate a court order without risking losing custody or even going to jail. If you have grounds to change custody, get a lawyer and ask the judge.

As to enforcing support - either ask the state child support unit for free help or retain a lawyer.
