If you have 50% physical custody of 2 children are you required to pay child support?

Answered by Wyckoff Nissenbaum | Somerville, MA | View Lawyer Profile

My fiance is filing for 50% physical custody of his 2 daughters. Their mother gets 700 a month in child support. She refuses to get a job, and lives off the child support and state assistance she gets. Once he is granted the 50% physical custody will he still be required to pay child support?
