The manager tells me that there holding my check because of something that happen on wednesday when I was there now I made sure everything was right and nothing was wrong. They tell me I cant have my check now its a problem I just really would like to know what can I do. Can you please get back to me as soon as possible that would be great.

Frank A. Natoli Esq. - Lawyer from New York, NY

Hi,

Unless they can prove you took money from them they cannot hold your check. You can file a small claims action against them for which you do not need a lawyer. At least this way you can let the judge decide. You may also be able to apply for unemplyment benefts.

If formal charges are brought you should seek the help a criminal lawyer in your state.

All the best,
Frank
