Question

Asked 1317 days ago by a user from Flossmoor, IL

Is evading, obstructing and resisting arrest a misdemeanor or felony?

My girlfriend and I were questioned by a police officer about being of private property. I was in the back seat of the car and my girlfriend was in the passengers seat of the car. I got out and gave a false name and then I ran when I thought hhe was going to accuse me of driving the car without a valid drivers liscence. They said to my parents they knew who I was and that I should turn myself in. So my question is if I do will I be or can I be charged with a felony for any of these things?
