Time Share Sale

Hello my name is sam ferrante and I just received an offer to buy my time share for a price of 18,700. The brokers name is Columbia Resort Sales. The paper work came VIA E-Mail and is signed by both parties. They want me to pay for City and County Transfer Taxes, Title search and Money Transfer Fees before I see any monies. My question is this a scam or a good offer? How can you help? THANKYOU

This is a very likely to be a SCAM. Do not do it and report the scam to the FBI. Do NOT respond to it.

First of all, almost no time shares have any real value, so that should give you a clue. Second, NO legitimate sale involves you paying money to sell. Third, real companies do NOT make offers in email.

It is very unlikely that you can ever sell a time share. But if you can, use a real licensed broker in the city where the time share is, and do NOT pay any fees in advance. (Their commission would come from the buyer at closing).
