We had our carpet wet cleaned in 2 rooms by a carpet cleaner. When he was completed with the job, he poured all the dirty water, and debris from our carpet in our toilet and bathtub. My gardener performed work for me and we agreed on one price.He then overbilled me and wants to sue me.We did not have a written contract but he also damaged my sprinklers and brick work which I had to have fixed.What are my options.I gave him two checks.He made me make out one for cash and one for his mortgage co.I have copies of both.
