Bankruptcy discharged in 2004

Mortgage lender did not reaffirm mortgage. We have continued making monthly mortgage payments since the bankrutpcy; can we walk away from the mortgage and not be responsible for the mortgage balance?

Can the irs or any other government office or bank take an inheritance if you have to forclose on a home? If the person leaving the inheritance is still living and the person recieving inheritance has to forclose on a home due to a financial situation beyond their control.

Foreclosure on home, I am unable to make the mortgage payments, I need to refinance, and does the homstead act have any control in this.

The bank has not proceeded yet, is their any goverment assistance on refinancing. I have owned the home for 30 years. I have been making the payments for sometime now.
