What do I do to get a lawyer to help me with getting my disability and social security?

I have applied for social security and disability benefits several times and have been denied. I have seizures and memory problems. I can't work or drive and I need some assistance.I have been trying to get disability since August 2009 and now my claim has been sent to Virginia for an appeal again. I have contacted that office to find out the status of my claim and have been told that they are still working on appeals from 2010 and that it will be a while before they get to my claim.

It sounds like you have had a hearing and have appealed your claim to the Appeals Council (if your case is in Falls Church, Virginia). But more information is required to provide more assistance.
